Karen Mito is a human living on Earth. She works for the government, alongside Jack Bek, and has been assigned to cover its work with Kit Farren, a position for which she was forced to move house at very short notice. She lives with a cat named "Poopy", which she was given by her mother, and her younger sister Tarin.

It is currently unknown whether Karen and her sister have any connection to the Mito siblings on Ui.
